It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mitchell Abbott of Weidman, Michigan, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Abbott and Birdie Abbott (Powell); his son Robert Mitchell Abbott; and his siblings, Phyllis Wernette and Donald Wayne Abbott.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Kennedy; his sons, Mark Abbott (Laura) of Weidman and Terry Abbott (Cora) of Weidman; his grandchildren, Michael Marcy (Jenn), Robert Abbott (Melissa Perez), Katreena Carrick (Jason), Christopher Abbott (Kelly), Nicole Powell (Michael), Michelle Abbott and Aimee Abbott; and his sister-in-law Linda Abbott of Weidman. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
The family will greet friends on Thursday, January 21st at the Weidman Baptist Church from 11:00 a. m. until 1:00 p. m. COVID-19 restrictions will be strictly observed with masks required, social distancing imposed and 25 guests allowed in the church at one time.
Memorial contributions in Mick's name may be made to the Weidman Baptist Church.
