He was predeceased by: his father Charles Henry Wood; his brother Jerry Arthur Chaney; and the mother of his children Rebecca McShane. He is survived by: his mother Roberta Chaney (McIvor); his children, Angela Mansfield, Michael S. Wood, Kelly Wood and Amy Wood; his grandchildren, Antonio Lynk, Chance Lynk, Blake Bass, Carter Vansyckle, Sophia Lynk and Alivia Bass; and his siblings, Charles Henry Wood Jr., Rhonda Joy Esler, Tammy Marie Brace, Larry R. Chaney, Dawn Dee Oliphant, Gary Allen Chaney and Justin Case Wood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
