Janet Elaine Newman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Elaine Newman of Weidman, Michigan, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max W. Stock and Sophie M. Stock (Waydak); her siblings, Jerry Stock and Mary MacGillivray; and her former husband Wayne Newman.
She is survived by: her significant other Kenneth "Pete" McDaniel; her sister Patricia Crawford; her children, Vickey Newman (John Gordon), Ed McDaniel and Kenny McDaniel (Shirley); and her grandchildren, Rannon Newman, Amanda Jolee, Shelly McDaniel, Eddie McDaniel and Clayton McDaniel. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Judge's Bench (2803 W Blanchard Rd, Winn, MI 48896). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2300 S Lincoln Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858).
