He is survived by: his former wife Christine Schwarck; his wife Chris Pitts of Weidman; his children, Tamara Maria "Tammy" Smith (Barry) of Avon, IN, Jason Keith Pitts (Jamie) of Orono, MN and Daron Gregory Pitts (Melissa) of Elk Grove, CA; his grandchildren, Max, Taryn, Brayden, Carlyn, Zoë, Hunter and Ian; his siblings, Terry Pitts (Marianne) of Big Rapids, Sharon Samford of Lexington, KY and Marlene Pitts of Lexington, KY; and his sister-in-law Jeanine Lockie (Gordon) of Elma, IA..
