Glen Joseph Matthews Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glen Joseph Matthews of Weidman, Michigan, who passed away on June 8, 2021 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Matthews and Lorraine Matthews (Doll); his brother David Matthews; and his brother-in-law Melvin Funnell. He is survived by: his wife Carol Funnell (Funnell) of Weidman; his children, Cheryl Schutt (Wes) of Weidman, Nanette Karavas of Central Lake, Kevin Matthews of Weidman and Brenda Turner (Kirk Kuske) of Midland; his grandchildren, Cody Schutt (Kristin), Crissa Karavas, Cole Karavas, Christopher Matthews (Clara), Alex Matthews (Melanie), Jake Matthews (Annie Noch), Catie Matthews, Ben Matthews (Jesse Pratt), Nicole Turner (Gary Smith), Courtney Turner (Tommy Bryant) and Zachary Turner; his great grandchildren, Madison, Skylar, Deakon, Abe, Charlotte, Jessica, Raelynn and Delilah; his sisters, Donna Grady (Fred) of Mecosta and Della Oberlin (Mike) of Blanchard; and his mothers-in-law, Joyce Carter, Betty Bouchey (Willis) and Lois Funnell.
