He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Embrey and Daisy Embrey (Darnell); and his nephews, Curtis "Randy" Baker and Steven Baker. He is survived by: his former wife Virginia Lee "Sue" Clark; his wife Sue Embrey of Weidman; his sons, Christopher Lee Embrey of Weidman, Brian Carl Embrey (Linda Jane Richter) of Barryton and David Douglas Embrey (Rhonda) of San Jose, CA; his grandchildren, Mason Embrey, James Embrey, Mikhaley Embrey, Justin Embrey (Laine), Kyle Embrey (Nicole), Kaylin Hampson (Bobby), Derek Nystrom, Austin Embrey and Jordan Embrey; his great grandchildren, Logan, Cecelia, Colton, Kenzi and Easton; his siblings, Richard Embrey (Tillie) of Rosebush and Carolyn Smith (Michael) of Weidman; and his uncles, Jay Darnell (Leola) and Duane Root (Berdella). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
