He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Loop and Thelma Loop; and his significant other Alice Disney. He is survived by: his children, Williams Loop and Holly Long; his stepdaughter Tatika Howard; his grandchildren, William J. Loop III, C. J. Kulas, Angela Ellsworth, Cailin Bologa, Ashley Dahl, Julius Dahl, Eliana Dahl, Bailey, Hailey and Riley; and his sister Bonnie Moulton. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
