She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Abela and Phyllis Abela of Detroit, MI; and her brothers, Anthony, Richard and Robert Abela.

She is survived by: her significant other Chris Chambers; her children, Kimberly, Michael and Vincent Chambers; her grandchildren, Angelica, Antonio and Elysia; her daughter-in-law Rose Chambers; and her sisters, Shirley Sikora (Abela) and Rose Caballero (Abela). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
