She was predeceased by: her parents, Johanas Ploeg and Bertha Vander Ploeg (Scholten); her husband Larry Knowlton; her daughter Pamela Knowlton; her daughter-in-law Natalie Knowlton; and her siblings, Jake Vander Ploeg, Cornie Vander Ploeg, Jerald Vander Ploeg, Alice Kraima, Josephine Vander Ploeg, Henry Vander Ploeg, Bonnie Earl and Simon Vander Ploeg (Sam).
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Knowlton (Jolynne) and Douglas Knowlton; her grandchildren, Ashley Martin (Aaron) and Tyler Knowlton; and her siblings, Alvin Vander Ploeg, Judy Oglesbee and Duane Vander Ploeg. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
