She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Geller and Kathryn Geller; her husband Roman Lapekes; her son Larry Lapekes; her son-in-law Dan Johnson; and her siblings, Helen Gray, Mary Jackson and James Geller.

She is survived by: her daughters, Lori (Vincent Ofeno), Lisa Johnson and Lorraine Lapekes (Aaik van der Poel); her grandchildren, Shaunna Lawrence, Jennifer Vandenberg (Justin) and Tera Wierenga (Brian); her great grandchildren, Aiden Davis, Luna Vandenberg, Taylor Olds, Zac Wierenga and Autumn Wierenga; her daughter-in-law Terri Lapekes; her sister-in-law Lorraine Ostrander; and her niece Jeanne Braendle-Stevens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
