It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorna Jean Douglas of Wayland, Michigan, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roger; her parents, Clifford Averill and Cecil Averill; her sisters, Opal Hendrikson (Kenneth), Dorothy McCormick (Vern) and Janet Perkins (Leon); and her sisters-in-law, Anne Jensen (Ken) and Marie Frank.

She is survived by: her children, Diana Lynn Snyder (Rick) and Brian Douglas (Jeanette); her grandchildren, Tracy Wnuk (Brian), Shannon Dockter (Bryan) and Jesse Snyder (Alexandra); her great grandchildren, Cole Wnuk (Amanda), Alli Humphrey (Trevor), Lee Jr. Misak (Madie), Emily Dockter, Aleigha Snyder and Douglas Dockter; and her great great grandchildren, Cora Humphrey, Baby Boy Misak and Baby Girl Wnuk.

Memorial contributions may be made to MDA - Muscular Dystrophy Association or ADA - American Diabetes Association.
