With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lori Ann Ames of Wayland, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on February 1, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances VanAllsburg (Slagter) and Lawrence VanAllsburg; her boyfriend Jay Henderson; and her siblings, Debra, Sandra VanAllsburg, Theodore and Bruce VanAllsburg.
She is survived by: her daughter Sara Ames; her grandchildren, Maverick Bradley, Camden Keely, Karter Stott, Kyler Stott, Keyleigh Jones and Rylan Price; and her siblings, Cheryl Murray, Wendy Groeneveld and Ray VanAllsburg. She is also survived by five nephews, five nieces, 11 great-nephews, five great-nieces; and many friends.
