Gertrude Catherine Taylor Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2022, at the age of 94, Gertrude Catherine Taylor (Wayland, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Taylor Sr.; her parents, Henry Jr. Weber and Anna Emma Weber; her son Thomas M. Taylor; her son-in-law Steve W. Shelley Sr.; her grandson Timothy G. T. Mankin; her siblings, Rosena O'Connor, Jerome Weber, Sylvester Weber, Geneva Ritsema, Ivan Weber and Joseph Weber; and her friend Lillian Havenga.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Mankin (Randy), Frank Taylor (Connie), Susan Shelley, Laura Taylor and Robert Taylor (Wendy); her grandchildren, Jeffrey Mankin, Seth Mankin, Frank Taylor III (Danielle), Scott Taylor, Christina Kuhl (Matthew), Cynthia Mathis (Richard), Steven Shelley II, Carrie Bala (Kevin), Daniel Taylor (Jennifer), Amy Fichtner (David), Matthew Taylor and Amber Taylor; her great grandchildren, Reed, Jack, Maddox, Alexander, Riley, Ovelia, Evie, Peyton, Emma, Thomas, Sophie, Isaac and Madeline; and her sisters, Theresa Williams, Charlene Tolhurst and Doris Andres. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.
In memory of Gertrude and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Therese Catholic School or Wings Home of Allegan.
