She was predeceased by: her parents, Gale Truax and Margaret Truax of Hopkins; her husbands, Edwin Slater and Eugene Stevens; her stepson Dale Stevens; her grandson Brian Slone; and her sister-in-law Lila Stevens.
She is survived by: her brother Rex Truax (Sally) of Hopkins; her children, Dee Slater (Tracey) of Hamilton, Linda Slater of Traverse City, John Stevens (Ashley) of Hopkins and Mary Barck (Michael) of Kalamazoo; her stepdaughters, Dianne Slone of Hudsonville and Donna Jones of Seale, Alabama.; and her brother-in-law Bill Stevens of Flint. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
