He is survived by: his children, Lee Pankratz (Kathy), Barb Calkins (Dan), Paula Fales (Gary) and Amy DeShaw (Dave). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to West Michigan Hospice or St. Therese Catholic Church.
