She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Arthur Larson and Ruby Larson; her husband Hugh DeWeerd; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Jeffery. She is survived by: her children, Sheri Herrema (Randy), Michael DeWeerd (Martha), John DeWeerd (Terry), Nancy Behling (Bob), Steven DeWeerd (Donna) and Ron DeWeerd (Nancy). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren.
In honor of Dorothy, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Church of Wayland Mission Fund, Wayland Area Ambulance, or Wayland Fire Department.
