She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Kolenko; her son James Kolenko; her siblings, Joseph Butera (Helen) and Josephine Butera; and her parents, Anthony Butera and Mary Butera (Sorce).

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Kolenko (Brenda), Christine Tingue (Gary) and Joseph Kolenko (Andrea Wright); her grandchildren, James Kolenko Jr., Eric Kolenko, Anthony Kolenko and Thomas Kolenko; and her great grandchildren, Mercedes Tingue, Kelly Kolenko, Ariella Kolenko and Camden Kolenko.

Memorials may be made in Theresa's name to Hanson Hospice Center or Pine Ridge Nursing Home.
