He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Burns and Mary Burns (Lang); his wife Sharron; his son Jesse Burns; and his siblings, Albert Burns, Mary Clayton, Sally Clayton, Karen Pasley, Robert Allerman, Ronald Burns and Robin Burns (Loretta).
He is survived by: his children, Robert Cheek (Susan) of Coloma and Dossie Cheek (Melody) of Lawrence; and his grandchildren, Nellie Cheek of Battle Creek, Alice Cook of Hartford, Kenneth Allerman (Diane) of Covert, Monica Searles of Houghton Lake, Betty Wells (Wayne) of Kokomo, Ind., Kyle, Samantha, Kailee, Sunny, Kiya, Bram, Isabella and Amber.
Memorial donations in Ray's memory may be made to New Hope Community Church.
