With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond Charles Cerny (Watervliet, Michigan), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cerny and Anna Cerny (Knize); his brothers, Edward, Richard and Robert; his daughter Brenda Cerny; and his stepsister Caroline Goldner.
He is survived by: his wife Marla Newton; his children, Debora Bachman (Dennis) of Millburg and David (Christine Cates) of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Rebecca Mercado (David), Miranda Cuatt (Tom) and Tyler Cerny; his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Kayleigh Mercado; and his sister-in-law Elaine Cerny. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
