He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nancy Sadler (Beach); his children, Paula Stakley (Jeff) and Jason "Eddie" Sadler (Rebecca); his sister Nancy Schmid (Mick); and his parents, Paul Sadler and Alice Sadler (Becht). He was also cherished by eight grandchildren.
