He was predeceased by: his son Darren Keefer; his parents, Lester Burford and Cleffie Burford (Hicks); and his brother Ronald Burford. He is survived by: his wife Diana "Becky" Burford; his daughters, Leslie Colford (Jim), Karen Griffin and Michelle McCarley; his grandchildren, Taylor, Jessica, Riley of Sophia, RJ, Jack and Hannah; and his siblings, Wathada Thomas (Carl) and Robert Burford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
