He was predeceased by: his wives, Betty Jean Latham and Gertrude "Trudy" Latham; his siblings, Ellen Maxine Howley, Emma Jean Ashley, Richard Latham and John Latham; and his parents, Wallace Latham and Bessie Ashley (Starnes).
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Hopper (Chris), James R Latham (Jen), Joseph D Latham (Dawn) and Jason N Latham (Dawn); his stepchildren, Robert Latham (Margie), Judi Arnt (Greg), Roger Latham (Linda), Craig Latham, Dorothy Leas and John Latham (Dawn); and his sister Mary Alice Voisard. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
