He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Sr. Kavanagh and Helen Kavanagh (Garrison); his wife Barbara; and his daughter Stephanie Butzbach (Gary). He is survived by: his son Patrick Kavanagh (Karen); his grandchildren, Daniel Kavanagh (Jamie), Elisabeth Miller (Tim) and Skyelar Kavanagh (Danny); and his great grandchildren, Ivy and Wren Miller.
