He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Birmele and Irene Birmele; and his brothers, Ted Birmele and Ed Birmele. He is survived by: his wife Carol Brimele (Yingling); his children, Lori Birmele and Kurt Birmele; and his grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Kirby Crews (Andrew) and Tony Johnson (Alicia).
