She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Gary Zilke; her children, Jim Gaytan (Julie) and Patty Parks (Steve Cordell); her stepchildren, Michelle Tahaney (Robert), Joel Zilke and Eric Zilke; her grandchildren, Kristi Parks and George Anthony Parks Jr.; her siblings, Pat Isbell, Robbie Smith (Esther) and Doug Smith; her parents, Roy Smith and Jackie Ivy Smith (Hooper); and her siblings-in-law, Walt Isbell and Nora Smith. She was also cherished by seven step-grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
Memorials may be made in Betty's memory to Free Methodist Church Food Bank, Berrien County Animal Control, or Caring Circle Hospice.
