He was predeceased by: his father Wilbert Schacht. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Zaremba; his children, Cynthia Schacht of Colby, Christine Schacht of Birnamwood, Catherine Rice (Nolan Russo) of Appleton and Richard Schacht II of Antigo; his grandchildren, Clinton Schacht (Amanda), Ashley Rekowski (Jonathan), Jessica Barnett (Nicolas Hubatch), Michael Barnett (Niki Miller), Marissa Davies (Jordan), Devin Rice, Megan Rice and Taelynn Schacht; and his friend Michael Kampmeier. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-grandchildren.
