He was predeceased by: his sons, Christopher and Michael; and his brothers, Raymond, Ronald and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Wendt (Smith) of Watersmeet, MI; his daughters, Charlene Lammers (Aaron) of Plymouth, WI, Annette Geimer (Trent) of Two Rivers, WI and Paulette Wahl (Jeffrey) of New Brighton, MN; and his siblings, Dale Burke (Rod) of Seattle, WA and Clarice Zubke of Saukville, WI. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
He also did volunteer work for other organizations such as the Ice Age Park & Trail Foundation.
