She was predeceased by: her parents, William Katke and Grace Katke; her siblings, William Katke (Barbara) and Kathleen Coates (Charles Ungerman); her niece Elizabeth Norris; and her stepson Michael Ungerman.
She is survived by: her children, Valerie Simmons (Kevin Watkins), Todd Johnston (Andie), Amy Sisovsky (Jerry), Jay Johnston (Tammy), Jon Johnston (Patty) and Bill DeGroot (Rachel); her grandchildren, Gary, Sean (Suzanne), Brandon (Tiffany), Heather (Rob), Courtney (Stu), Shane of Katie, TJ, Cody (Sara), Taylor (Garrett), Adam, Danielle (David), Mark (Allie), RaeAnn and Parker; and her great grandchildren, Shyla, Sable, Shali, Grant, Adira, Kayli, Easton, Entropy, Epsilon, Wally, Willa, June, Owen, Lilah, Peiton, Jordyn, Ryder, Karson, Brandon, Wyatt, Alaina, Brooks and Everleigh. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
