She was predeceased by: her sister Emily Robertine Niblock; her niece Giselle Gary; her great-niece Dimitrianne; and her great grandchild Aria. She is survived by: her husband Samuel J. "Sam" Smith; her children, Maddie Jeneʹ Podvin of North Branch, Melody Elaine Laxton of Centerville, Tennessee, Robert Smith (Ron) of Bay City, Michigan and David Smith (Vicky) of Bay City, Michigan; her sister Marcia Paulsen of Novi, Michigan; her grandchildren, Lacey Ekstrom of North Branch, Michigan, Erin Pasternak (Tim) of North Branch, Michigan, Joshua Smith of Bay City, Michigan and Andrew Smith of Bay City, Michigan; her nieces, Annette Siglow (Al) and Sherrill Lasley (Don); her nephew Billy Niblock; and her pet Midget. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
