We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2024, at the age of 94, William D. Schaeffer of Waterford, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jane; and his siblings, Richard Schaeffer and Margaret Larsen. He is survived by: his children, Sue Schaeffer, Sandy Jackson, John Schaeffer (Linda), Don Schaeffer (Jackie), Rick Schaeffer (Tina), Kirk Schaeffer (Tracy) and Cindy Fairchild (Bruce); and his sister Virginia Reiche. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
