He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; his children, Rebecca Cox, Monica Cox and Keith Cox; his parents, William Cox and Evelyn Cox; and his siblings, Don Cox and Gloria McCormick.

He is survived by: his children, Bryan Cox, Lisa Christopher (Ed) and Darin Cox (Chris); his sister Sonja Klein; his grandchildren, Lynnette, Amanda, Elisha, Shaun and Nolan; and his great grandchildren, James, Kyliegh, Jazell, Carter, Ben, Layla, Willa and Ella.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home (5630 Pontiac Lake Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48327). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
