She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Rob" Malega; and her parents, Oral Duncan and Ruth Duncan. She is survived by: her children, Cassondra Watkins (Justin Gonzales) and Travis Watkins (Lyndsey); her grandchildren, Mason, Mario, Liliana, Kenny and Travis James; and her siblings, Shirley Haglund (Dan) and Donna MacMillan (Bob). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Coats Funeral Home (3141 Sashabaw Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48329). A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
