It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Stamps of Waterford, Michigan, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett James (Pearl Smith) and Robie May Fowler; her brothers, James "Sonny" Smith and James Campbell Jr.; and her great grandchild McKenzie Lisa Standfield.
She is survived by: her children, Al Rhodes, Gerald Rhodes, Patricia Rhodes and Tracy Rhodes; her siblings, Nell Pitts, Marilyn McDonald, Abram "Bobby" Powell (Joyce) and Trosie Alexander (Ray); her aunt Mary Ann Briscoe (Leonard); and her uncle Curtis Smith (Marie). She is also survived by her six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel (46 Williams St, Pontiac, MI 48341). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lifepoint Christian Church (501 Scott Lake Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48328).
