It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan M. Wisely of Waterford, Michigan, born in Bayonne, New Jersey, who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband John P. Wisely; her parents, Bernard Carr and Bridget Carr; and her siblings, Bernard, Patrick, Kevin, Clarence, John Carr and Bridget Meyer.

She is survived by : her children, Kathleen Krolicki (John), Kevin Wisely (Ginny), Maryanne Foster, John Wisely (Rene) and Sheila London (Eric); her child-in-law Jamie Foster; her grandchildren, Erin Knoblock (Stephen), Kira, Caitlyn (Ryan McCann), Maxwell, Sean, Kelly, Joanne, Sadie, Daniel, Aidan, Anna and Connor; and her great grandchild Nora Knoblock. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home (5630 Pontiac Lake Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48327). A rosary was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church (5481 Dixie Hwy, Waterford Twp, MI 48329).
