She was predeceased by : her parents, John Stoyka and Anna Stoyka (Krisfalusi); her spouse Gene Diachenko; her siblings, Mary Wensel, Charles and Michael Stoyka; her nephew Kenneth Wensel; and her great grandchild Jovie Rimespach.

She is survived by : her children, Daniel Diachenko (Liese), Deborah Gavulic (Mark), Dana Rimelspach (James) and Diana Petrinko (Nicholas); and her grandchildren, Alexander, Elizabeth Neff (Joshua), Sarah, Nicholas Diachenko, Abigail, Olivia Spencer (Joshua), Julia, George Gavulic, Derek (Kailey), Erika, Karl, Kurt Rimelspach, Thomas (Dominique), Steven and Anna Petrinko. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, a niece and nephew.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 13th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home - Warren (11470 E Thirteen Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48093). The lying in state was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Orthodox Church (20500 Anglin St, Detroit, MI 48234-4701). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
