He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayland Hammond and Sara Hammond; his stepmother Lawayne Hammond; and his sister Edna Bowman (Dave). He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his sister Lois Lotridge (Everett Bruner); and his nieces and nephews, Rick Hammond (Heather), Russ Hammond (Cheryl), Carol Criss (Bill), Elaine Spivey (Eddie), Kristie Luther (Josh), Sarah Hammond (Will), Matthew Johnson, Mark Johnson (Caitlyn) and Shannon Paredes-Orta (Enrique). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Coats Funeral Home (3141 Sashabaw Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48329). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
