She was predeceased by: her siblings, Marie, Irene and James Sleno (Ann). She is survived by: her husband Larry Whalen of Michael's Catholic Church; her children, Janet Alexander (Andy) of Freeland, MI and Dr. David Whalen (Vicki); her grandchildren, Maddy, Jacob Alexander, Monica and Adam Whalen; and her sister Margaret Saffer (late Neal). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
