He was predeceased by: his child Pamela Slabinski. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Anderson; his child Timothy Slabinski (Debbie); his grandchild James Slabinski (Ashley); his great grandchild Abigail Pamela Slabinski; and also Beloved. He is also survived by two sisters and one brother.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
