He was predeceased by: his wife Trudi Reiter; his parents, Albert Wilhelm and Emilie Hildegard; and his brother Dieter. He is survived by: his sons, Dennis (Robert Facundo) and Eric (Margie); his grandchildren, Eric William (Shelby) and Julia Herzog (Robert); his great grandchildren, Tyler Herzog and Cameron Schwarz; his siblings, Antje Barbey and Peter Schwarz; and his caregivers, Katie and Michael Richards.
