He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Deborah; his children, Tony Kees (Britteny), Jessica Flores (Jesus) and Andrew Kees (Katie); his parents, Harry Kees and Doris Kees; his sister Nancy Thompson (Gary); and his grandchildren, Phoeby, Wyatt, Everett, Lucas and Lydia.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home (5630 Pontiac Lake Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48327). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
