She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Wilson and Johnie Wilson; her son Jerome Sears; and her husband Walter Sears. She is survived by: her children, Bridgett Sears-King, Bernard Sears, Maurice Sears, Carol Woodhouse, Lisa Sears and Richard Sears; and her brother Frederick "Charles" Wilson (Ophelia).
