She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Gentner and Josephine Gentner (Wipping); her son Brian; her grandson Peter Houbeck; her sister Audrey Booms; and her son-in-law Les Kaminski.
She is survived by: her husband Hilary Susalla of Washington Twp; her children, Mary Jo Kaminski (Mike Swidwinski) of Grand Rapids, Stephen Susalla (Cheryl) of Columbus, Cynthia Turner (Barry) of Clinton Twp, Lynn Houbeck (Dennis) of Chesterfield, Lois Rumpz (Douglas) of Ravenna, Kevin Susalla (Allison) of Sterling Heights and Robert Susalla of Sterling Heights; her grandchildren, Michael Kaminski (Jill), Brian Kaminski (Jordan), Lindsey McFarland, Jessica Scott, Leanne Turner, Steven Houbeck, Matthew Houbeck (Kristen), Katherine Woods (A. G.), Sheila Tjapkes (late Dustin), Adam Rumpz (Kurstin), Emily Seevers (Yoni), Conner Susalla, Olivia Susalla, Mitchell Susalla, Logan Susalla and Joseph Susalla; her siblings, Dennis Gentner (Karen) of Ruth and Marilyn Bornais (late Richard) of Ortonville; and her brother-in-law Alvin Booms. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
