She was predeceased by: her parents, John Anderson and Monica Anderson (Yuhse); her former husband Lewis Gehopolos; her sister Charlotte Schimpke (Anderson); her brother-in-law Harold Schimpke; her parents-in-law, Erie and Gust Gehopolos; her siblings-in-law, Electra Bailey (Gehopolos) and Zacharias Gehopolos; and also, David Bailey and Christine Gehopolos (Stamos).
She is survived by: her husband Manistee Lodge; her daughters, Kathryn Pickwick (Dennis), Monica Anderson and Bethesda Kloet (Richard); her grandchildren, Stacey Anderson and Nathan Pickwick (Jenny); and her niece Amelia Bailey Chapko (Ron).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Bernadine are asked to consider a contribution to the Manistee North Pierhead Lighthouse c/o, of the Manistee County Historical Museum or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
