With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard James Hicks Sr. of Washington Township, Michigan, who passed away on February 22, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Hicks and Helen Hicks (Wood); his children, Howard Jr. (Marla) and Denise Dillon (Tim); his grandchildren, Jennifer McDonald, Matthew Hicks (Kristen), Jackie Conway (Brian), Andi Moore (John Moore), Dru Dillon (Allison) and Austin; his sisters, Ella Cone of Berville and Shirley Verscheure of Ray Twp; and his wife Dorothy (Racz).

In lieu of flowers, family wishes donations be sent to the Romeo United Methodist Church (280 N. Main St. Romeo, MI 48065).
