He was predeceased by: his parents, Adele Kuptz (Turowski) and William Kuptz; his son David Jr.; and his sister Phyllis Tresh (Ray). He is survived by: his wife Diane (Crook); his children, Karen Turner (Rob), Julie Lemanske (Dan) and Ken Kuptz (Carrie); his siblings, Diane Bilczewski (Chuck), Jack and James; and his grandchildren, Erin Andresen (Eric), Jennifer, Michael (Elizabeth Lemanske) and Benjamin (Matthew Kuptz).
