He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Sievers and Alice Sievers (Mortenson); his wife Georgia Lee Miller; his brother Robert Sievers; his parents-in-law, Grace and Steve Gennick; and his sister-in-law Aura Gennick.

He is survived by: his girlfriend Linda Neros; his children, Michele Bigelow (Brad) of Greenville, Scott Sievers (Shanen) of Rochester and Jason; his sister Karen Pfister (Karl); his grandchildren, Danielle Hilliker (Stephen), Allison Bigelow, Savannah Sievers and Skylar Sievers; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Plecas (Frank), Sharon Gennick and Stephen Gennick. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
