Shirley Ann Klug Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2024, at the age of 89, Shirley Ann Klug of Warren, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Westerlund and Dorothy Westerlund; her son-in-law James Hood; and her siblings, Thomas Westerlund, Duane Westerlund (Melrita), Corine Lynch (Jerry) and Carl Westerlund.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Klug; her children, Gayle Hood, Linda Handley (Randy) and Joseph Klug (Lynn Hannah); her grandchildren, Tyler, Joshua, Lisa, Veronica, Jon and Rebecca; her great grandchildren, Rosalina, Lily, Phoenix Rose, Brooke and Julia; her great great grandchildren, Everly and Kai; her sister Karen Seaman (Patrick McKinney); and also Eleanor Westerlund.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2125 Twelve Mile Rd, Berkley, MI 48072). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Shirley was also an active participant in the Mt. Zion Foundation, where her contributions were greatly valued.
