Matthew Richard McCoy, age 23, of Warren, Michigan passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024. He was born on September 14, 2000, in Detroit.
Matthew had a passion for gaming that knew no bounds and his love for drawing was unmistakable. His talent for drawing characters from his favorite games showcased his creativity and dedication to his craft.
Beyond his love for gaming and drawing, Matthew was known for his generous nature. He found joy in giving to others, whether it was a kind gesture or a helping hand. His selflessness and compassion touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Matthew had a particular fondness for Buffalo Wild Wings and pepper steak from Shoguns. His enthusiasm for sharing a meal with loved ones added an extra layer of warmth and camaraderie to every gathering.
Family meant everything to Matthew, and he cherished the time spent with his grandparents above all else. Whether it was sharing stories, playing games, or simply enjoying each other's company, his bond with his family was unbreakable.
Though Matthew may have left this world too soon, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were touched by his kindness, generosity, and love. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire us to live each day with compassion and gratitude.
Matthew was the beloved son of Shawn and the late Brian McCoy. Loving brother of Anthony McCoy and Jami Reiterman. Cherished grandson of Tamie and James McCoy.
A Memorial Visitation for Matthew will be held on Saturday, June 22nd from 12pm-4pm with a Time of Sharing at 2:30pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road, Warren, MI.
