She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Maher and Kathleen Maher; her husband Frank Wagner; and her sisters, Eileen Dutts (late Joe) and Kathleen Barney.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Groth (late Don), John Wagner (late Glenda), Peggy DeClercq (Bill), James Wagner and Richard Wagner (Cindy); her grandchildren, Nathan (Vicky), Jason, Christine (Craig), John Jr., Jeff, Joe, Billy (Annie), Katie, Jenny (Justin), Chris (Sara), Ben (Gabby) and Alex (Casey); her brother Patrick Barney (late Grace); and her sister-in-law Jean Mittel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home (32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, MI 48088). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church (31555 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, any donations made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Capuchin Soup Kitchen would be greatly appreciated.
