He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore John Motyka and Jean Motyka; and his sister Theresa Matthews (Harvey). He is survived by: his wife Joan Motyka; his children, Raymond Motyka (Lisa), Nancy Stallwood (Greg), Steven Motyka (Renae) and David Motyka; his daughter-in-law Lori Taylor; his grandchildren, Jenna (Kyle), Rachel (Joshua), Joshua, Jacob, Corrie and Lilliana; his great grandchildren, Noah, Liam, Samuel, Sophia and Tulip; and his brother Lawrence Motyka. He is also survived by wife, children, grandchildren, extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the D. S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home (30009 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Parish Church (31555 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
